Whole Pastured Bundarra Cockerel

Cockerels are the roosters of our Bundarra Chicken flock and preferred in Europe for their flavoursome profile. Bundarra chickens are bred from lots of different breeds and are well suited to our local outdoor conditions here in Barham, have darker tasty meat and thicker skin than conventional chickens and take up to three times as long to finish than commercial breeds.

Our free-range Bundarra Chicken flock spend their days pecking and scratching the paddocks and roaming our pastured paddocks. We move them every few days and they leave behind lovely fertilised and soft soil, littered with feathers and straw which add delicious organic material to the soil.

Chemical and antibiotic free. Approx 1.8-2kgs.
